SWA RENOVATES HOSTELS IN USHR UNIT

SWA has embarked on renovation of hostels with Upper State House Road Unit- Hall 4 and Women’s Hall benefiting from the programme.

At Upper State House Unit the roofing and external painting works in Hall 4 is currently complete giving the halls a new lease of life. The hall has been an eye sore with most of the rooms on the top floor badly leaking and the exterior looking bad. This is now a thing of the past as the hall is currently in good shape.

SWA RENOVATES HOSTELS IN WOMEN’S HALL

SWA has embarked on renovation of hostels with Women’s Hall and Hall 4 benefiting from the programme. Renovation work at Women’s hall (Box) has been funded by Central Administration as a flagship project by the University. The work has been ongoing and currently the hall is almost complete with plumbing, electrical, roofing, and external pant works complete.

Student Welfare contributes food to Nairobi Children's Rescue Home

Student Welfare Authority in the spirit of corporate social responsibility, contributes food to Nairobi Children's Rescue Home. This is a home for orphaned and abandoned children.

FOOD DONATION TO NAIROBI CHILDREN REMAND HOME

SWA Management, lead by Dr. Wanyama, donates food items to Nairobi Children Remand Home. 

Nairobi Children Remand Home is a statutory institution that caters for children in conflict with the law as well as children in need of care and protection. The Manager, Mr. Daniel K. Njama thanked the University of Nairobi and SWA at large for the donation more so during this very difficult period of Covid 19. View More
