Student Welfare Authority has over the years offered works study programme to needy and poor students in the university. SWA has been working with the Dean of Students Office and the office of the Special Students Advisor in engaging needy and vetted students for work study programme. Students have been engaged for a period of two or three months to work in offices, cafeterias and halls of residence as receptionists and Custodians.
This year the office of the Dean of Students and Career Office has rolled out the Work-Study –Program (WSP) in the hostels. The WSP is meant to assist needy students registered with office of the Dean of Students. For a student to apply he or she must be registered with of the Dean of Students.
